New Kent County Public Schools 2023 Teachers of the Year

New Kent County Public Schools formally announced their Teachers of the Year at the beginning of their Monday night board meeting. The process has been moved to the beginning of the year, allowing school districts to recognize their leaders more often and on a year-round basis. Recipients this year for New Kent County Public Schools are (l to r) Melissa George of Quinton Elementary School, Terry Nash of New Kent Elementary School, Carol Ann Dickerson of George Watkins Elementary School, Erika St. Dennis of New Kent Middle School, and John Aughenbaugh of New Kent High School. Superintendent of Schools Brian Nichols (far right) also announced that Aughenbaugh was the Division Teacher of the Year as well.
