Six locals graduate as part of Spring 2023 commencement ceremonies at James Madison University

Six local residents graduated from James Madison University as part of May 2023 commencement ceremonies.

Larsen Stewart of Providence Forge graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Sydney Iwanski of Lanexa graduated with a Master of Arts in Psychology in Counselor Education. Christopher Krawiec of Providence Forge graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology, while Shayla Forrest, also of Providence Forge, graduated with a Master of Teaching in Education. Hannah Sweeney of Quinton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Matthew Jenkins of Quinton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology.
