Chickahominy Triad recognition ceremony

Members of the Chickahominy Triad received their official garments during their June 21 meeting at the Charles City Parks and Recreation Center. Seventeen members of the group received the garment, which signifies their official induction into the organization. The Charles City and New Kent branch of the organization was created in 2017 to create a partnership between law enforcement and senior citizens to promote programs to deter crime, improve safety, and aid the elderly in need. Recipients are Felicia Baez, Lee Bailey, Evelyn Beaumont, Brenner Carter, Alease Christian, Doris Holloman, Danny Green, Cynthia Green, Sylvia Hathaway, Randle Davis, Joe McLaughlin, Florence Snead, Nora Allen, Zack Wiser, Lillie Armstead, Gale Armstead, Gale Auer, Carolyn Dooley, and Aurelia Carter.
