Barber announces intent to run for re-election to New Kent School Board

Sarah Grier Barber has announced her intent to run for re-election to the District 4 seat on New Kent’s School Board.

“As a lifelong advocate for education and committed member of the New Kent community, it has been an honor to serve the citizens of New Kent for nearly 12 years,” she said in a press release. “New Kent County remains one of the fastest growing localities in Virginia and our schools are one of our greatest strengths.

“The citizens of New Kent need an experienced leader representing District 4,” Barber added. “We have built a strong foundation for our students to grow in a safe and nurturing environment. My goal moving forward is to continue to improve and build on our school division’s many accomplishments and initiatives.”
