Experience: Eight years on New Kent’s School Board, facilitator of Bridging Communities Career and Technical Center outreach programs into real-world learning environment, background in healthcare and business administration.

Reason for running: “I see a lot of parallels in the world of nursing and teaching. We are underpaid but we love what we do. I relate with our educators and want to be part of a system that appreciates them. I enjoy being a part of a system that hired a great superintendent and part of this board who has put education first, as well as address issues that are important.”

Why people should vote for you: “I truly believe that we should support all kids. I believe the school board should be non-partisan and that we provide the best education for all students and the best environment for our teachers to educate and lead by example.”
