Charles City Candidate for Sheriff: Jayson Crawley

Experience: Member of law enforcement and public safety for more than 25 years, worked in law enforcement officers in both Charles City and Surry County.

Reason for running: I have been passionate about this county since the age of 15 when I worked for Charles City’s Volunteer Fire Department. I know that we need top notch service and that we have good officers in the sheriff’s department. I believe with the proper guidance and leadership that the department that they will be taken to greater heights.”

Why people should vote for you: “I have a passion since the age of 15 and even though I work in Surry County right now, I continue to let my community know what’s going on in Charles City and will continue to do that as sheriff.”
