Charles City County’s EDA to partner with TPMA as consultant

Charles City County’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) will partner with TPMA as a consultant to lead an economic development and tourism strategic plan for the region.

“Charles City County has been eager to kick off this economic development plan for some time,” said Charles City EDA President Dominique White in a press release. “We look forward to working with TPMA and are excited about the expertise they will bring to this important project.”

The TPMA team will work with Charles City’s EDA to create an action-oriented plan that will inform and guide county officials, residents, property owners, and developers in making sound policy and investment decisions that will lead to the expansion of the town’s tax base and economic wealth.

“Charles City County envisions a distinctive family-focused community where memories are made,” commented Charles City County Administrator Michelle Johnson. “By partnering with TPMA, the county is working to achieve this vision through responsible growth planning, heritage preservation, and economic development.”
