Chickahominy Area Triad receives medical alert devices through Alert1 sponsorship

Alert1 Medical Alert Services, a national provider of emergency alert and monitoring services, is now an official sponsor of the Chickahominy Area Triad senior safety program.

Alert1 will be supporting 25 vulnerable seniors in Charles City and New Kent County by supplying personal emergency response systems (PERS) devices, medical alert systems that consist of 24/7 live monitoring by trained agents, at no cost to the recipients.

“The charitable donation of the requested medical alert systems will bring a sense of security, comfort, and relief not only to our senior citizens living alone, but also to the family members and the community in general,” said Chickahominy Triad president Danny Green in a press release.
