QCV announces donation by AES Corporation to assist with Charles City youth literacy

Quickstart Children of Virginia (QCV) has announced AES Corporation had contributed $10,000 to the program, with a portion of those funds benefiting children in Charles City.

Funds from the donation will be used to startup Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) in Charles City. In addition. Some of those funds will also be used to support Charles City Elementary School’s Library to help improve childhood literacy.
