Seeterlin promoted to President of Chesapeake Payment Systems

Chesapeake Bank has announced that D.J. Seeterlin, a resident of New Kent, has been promoted to President of Chesapeake Payment Systems, a division of the bank that offers merchant acquiring services.

“The confluence of payments and merchant acquiring services is accelerating,” said Chesapeake Financial Shares CEO Jeff Syzperski. “D.J.’s depth of experience in payments and technology will allow us to navigate this confluence for the benefit of our customers. It is a great match.”

Seeterlin has led the development and launch several innovative payment products. His new role will see him lead a team to support and grow partnerships with Independent Sales Organizations, payment facilitators, processors, sales agents, agent banks, and thousands of businesses.
