Dooley named as LaSertoma of the Year

Carolyn Dooley, a member of Shore to Shore LaSertoma in New Kent, was named as the LaSertoma of the Year for 2024-25.

The award, which is the highest honor presented by LaSertoma International, recognizes those who go beyond the call of duty. Dooley spearheaded several projects this year including sending over 1,700 cards to servicemen and women in the armed forces, delivering food to the needed, volunteering at the Christmas Mother, and packing shoe boxes for children of Appalachia.
