National Beta School of Merit

New Kent High School has been recognized as a 2024-25 National Beta School of Merit. The award honors schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic achievement, character, leadership, and service. The organization highlights those trends including community outings and support, including the Hoco Fest (pictured). The group received the recognition while NKHS Beta Club was under the sponsorship of Susan Musselman.
