CCES reads with a former NFL player

Former NFL Player Malcolm Mitchell (right) is joined by Virginia State Senator Laschrecse Aird (left) as part of “READing with Malcolm Rally” recently held at Charles City Elementary School. In conjunction with QuickStart Children of Virginia (QCV), the program saw Mitchell read his book “The Magician’s Hat” to all 300 students at the school as part of QCV’s effort to promote childhood literacy awareness.
