Charles City Fallen Officers Memorial

The families of the late Charles City County deputies Michael C. Walizer and Floyd H. Miles Jr. stand in front of a memorial honoring the officers during a Tuesday morning unveiling ceremony. Attended by more than 100 people, the gathering pays tribute to the sacrifices made by the Charles City officers who died in the line of duty. The memorial as well as a contributed bench from Blue Knights, Chapter VIII are located in the courtyard of the Charles City Courthouse.
