Local students earn academic recognition from College of William and Mary

Several local students were recognized on the Dean’s List at the College of William and Mary for the Fall 2025 semester.

Emma Shellman of Charles City, Faith Hynes and Elizabeth Ross, both of Lanexa, Christopher Smith and Cheyenne Webster, both of New Kent, and Catie Bennett and Trey Christman, both of Providence Forge, were honored for their academic excellence at the college.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and accumulate a quality-point average of 3.6 or higher.
