Platinum award for financial literacy

Students from New Kent High School’s Financial Literary Program pose after being awarded a Platinum School status for outstanding performance on the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification Test during the 2024-2025 school year. Under the leadership of Beth Manz, the students excelled on the test that measured students’ understanding of essential personal finance topics that include areas of budgeting, saving, and investing. New Kent High School is one of only 33 schools across the country to receive the honor.
