New Kent County transitioning to CivQuest Atlas as new GIS platform

New Kent County has announced the launch of CivQuest Atlas, a new online mapping platform that will replace the county’s existing Parcel Viewer GIS website.

The Apr. 8 press release says that the new platform, developed in partnership with Civic Vanguard, will provide enhanced performance, a modern user interface, and improved tools for accessing parcel information and exploring county GIS data. The platform will offer residents, businesses, and staff a more intuitive and efficient way to interact with mapping data, including property details, aerial imagery, and other geographic information resources.

The implementation of the new platform will roll out in three phases; a preview phase to allow uses to explore CivQuest ahead of the full launch, a transition phase that will have soft redirects to the CivQuest Atlas and the option to return to the existing site, and the full launch, which will redirect all users to the CivQuest Atlas platform.
