Chickahominy 74th Annual Fall Festival and Pow Wow

Above, Chickahominy Tribal Chief Stephen Adkins (left) steps alongside Head Male Dancer Yakima Reddest of the Sicangu Lakota Tribe during the Welcome Dance as part of the 74th Annual Chickahominy Fall Festival and Pow Wow held this past weekend in Charles City County. With beautiful weather on hand, more than 1,000 people graced the Chickahominy Tribal Grounds as the event emphasizes culture, community, and the history of the native tribe in both Charles City and the country. Below, new royalty of the tribe is crowned as Addison Adkins (left) is named Little Miss Chickahominy and Alaina Adkins (right) is announced as Miss Junior Chickahominy.
