Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) will be bringing their Artmobile to New Kent County in May. In a partnership with New Kent Parks and Recreation and Arts Alive, the Artmobile will host the “A View from Home: Landscapes of Virginia” on May 21-22. The exhibit will have paintings, photographs, engravings, and more from the museum’s collection. Heritage Public Library has selected as a recipient of a national grant for small and rural libraries. Tentative plans for an in-person graduation have been announced for Charles City County High School. During Tuesday evening’s meeting of Charles City School Board, Director of Teaching, Learning, and Accountability Todd Perelli and Director of Operations Jerome Tyler revealed an in-person graduation for the Class of 2021. The scheduled graduation is set for Saturday, June 12, in the morning at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
