Drew Ashford, a resident of Providence Forge, has been named to the Summer 2024 Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic. In order to earn the recognition, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of 3.5 higher while being enrolled full-time.
The 15th annual Providence Forge Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, beginning at 2 p.m. The parade route will occupy eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. Route 60 (Pocahontas Trail) between Carriage Road (Rt. 629) and Olivet Church Road (Rt. 618). Traffic will be closed at 1:45 p.m. and diverted to Boulevard Road to bypass the parade route. The parade co-grand marshals will be Sgt. Jonathan Miles of the Virginia State Police, and the Rev.
