Snaxi launches delivery service in Charles City, New Kent County

Snaxi Food Delivery has launched a service area in Charles City and New Kent County. With its home base in Charles City and owned by Eli Dancy, Snaxi delivers food to the areas of Quinton, Providence Forge, and Charles City. The service also delivers auto parts. Snaxi was created in 2018 as a delivery service to unserved areas. Operation hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. For more information, call 804-557-0505 or visit www.snaxiva.com.

Williams named to Dean’s List at Howard University

Alexis Williams, Charles City High School’s Class of 2021 valedictorian, has been named to the Dean’s List at Howard University for the 2023-24 academic year. In order to qualify for this achievement, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Two local students named to Dean’s List at UMD-Global Campus

Two local students were named to the Dean’s List at the University of Maryland Global Campus for the Summer 2024 semester. Tenisha High-Adams of Providence Forge, and Jennifer Hilton of New Kent, were recognized for their academic success. In order to be named to the Dean’s List, a student must complete at least six credit hours during the term and accumulate a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
