Jack Walker, a 2020 graduate of New Kent High School, recently earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Walker completed his studies in Dec. 2023 from the university’s school of business. He earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing.

The Chickahominy Health District, which serves Charles City County, will partner with community organization to kickoff the Charles City Community Health Improvement Planning (CHIP) on Tuesday, Dec. 12. Local organizations will take in part the process to help identify health priorities by reviewing the results of the recently completed Community Health Assessment (CHA). They will discuss those findings and are asking the community for help in determining priority areas.
