Jenna Warlick, of Providence Forge, has been named to the University of Alabama’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester. In order to be recognized for the achievement, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Two local residents have earned Doctorate degrees from Shenandoah University. Rebecca Bradford of Quinton and Alyssa Virgili of Providence Forge were among graduates as part of May 20 commencement ceremonies at the school Both Bradford and Virgili graduated with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree.
David Hice, a resident of Lanexa, recently completed his studies at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Hice graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies as part of Spring 2023 commencement ceremonies at the institution.
The College of William and Mary has announced that seven individuals from the local area have graduated as part of Spring 2023 commencement ceremonies. Abbey Coutu and Braden Coutu, both of Barhamsville, graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees. Brendan Millis and Todd Reynolds, both of Lanexa, also graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees. Lawrence Lowe-Papa of New Kent graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Abigail Carlson of Providence Forge graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and Nia Darrisaw of Quinton graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be taking at least 12 credit hours and earn a quality-point average of 3.6 or higher.
LaDonna Jefferson, a resident of Providence Forge, recently completed her studies at Widener University in Chester as part of May 9-11 commencement ceremonies. Jefferson earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from the school’s college of health and human services.
