Kinder earns Master’s Degree from Cedarville University
A Quinton resident recently earned their Master’s Degree from Cedarville University. John Kinder graduated during Spring 2023 commencement ceremonies with a Master of Arts in Biblical Leadership.

Crowning achievement: Charles City grads best odds to celebrate
Knowing your self-worth and hitting milestone achievements was a message delivered Saturday morning to Charles City High School’s Class of 2023. Forty-eight graduates were recognized as part of commencement ceremonies. Charles City High School Class of 2023 Valedictorian- Kayla King
Kayla King posted a grade-point average of 4.2 as valedictorian for Charles City High School’s Class of 2023 She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Solar Team that won the State Solar Championship in 2022. Kayla will be attending Brightpoint Community College before transferring to a four-year institution where she plans to major in nursing with an emphasis in labor and delivery. She is the daughter of Michael and Tracy King.

He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Solar Team that won the State Solar Championship in 2022. New Kent 2023 graduates set bar high, expected to take next step in life
As 249 graduates sat inside VCU’s Siegel Center Friday evening as part of New Kent High School’s Class of 2023 commencement ceremony, the message of sharing experiences and taking in each moment was highlighted throughout the night. Katie Ross posted a grade-point average of 4.6 as valedictorian of New Kent High School. She was a member of the girls’ varsity tennis team, the Student Council Association, and volunteered at Heritage Public Library. Katie will be attending will be attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering where she will be studying architectural engineering and playing on the school’s tennis team. She is the daughter of William and Lisa Ross.

She was a member of the BETA club, the girls’ varsity volleyball team, and volunteered at Dreamcatchers.
