Input for Charles City superintendent sought
With the retirement of Janet Crawley as superintendent of schools as of June 30, Charles City’s School Board has entered into an agreement with the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) to conduct a search for a division superintendent.
As part of the process, the school board is actively seeking community input on the qualifications for a new superintendent. Members will receive comments during a public hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m. prior to its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m.
An online survey related to superintendent criteria for Charles City Public Schools, is available on-line at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CharlesCityCoSupt. Paper copies will also be available at the School Board office, each school, churches, and many other locations throughout the county. Surveys will be accepted through Thursday, Feb. 20.
