New Kent man incurs drug charges while being booked for DUI

A New Kent County man, transported to Henrico Jail East for allegedly driving under the influence, landed in more trouble when officers conducting the booking process inside the jail spotted drugs allegedly discarded by the suspect.

Now in addition to the DUI charges, Christopher Milton Golderos, 37, of the 12000 block of Old Telegraph Road, Providence Forge, faces one felony count each of heroin possession and transporting narcotics into a correctional facility.

The incidents occurred on March 7. The suspect was being held without bond and was due to appear in court on March 10.
