Donald McEachin- Candidate for Virginia Senate, 9th District Seat

Experience- Served in the House of Delegates from 1996-2007 and has served in the Virginia Senate since 2007. Has been Democratic caucus chair and worked with other administrative agencies; works as an attorney by profession.

Reason for running- I have the opportunity to continue to serve my community and take every opportunity to improve folks’ lives here. I believe in making a difference and giving back and my service in the General Assembly is one way to do that. I want our communities to be the place to live, work, and raise a family.

Why should people vote for you?- I have the opportunity to represent your needs. We still need to expand Medicaid, provide affordable, accessible, quality health care for up to 400,000 Virginians. We need stronger public schools so that all our children graduate prepared for higher education or for well-paying jobs.
