Lamont Bagby- Candidate for House of Delegates, 74th District seat

Experience- Eight years on Henrico School Board; current Delegate of 74th District after special election. Has worked in public service and education.

Reason for running- “This is my first opportunity to run in the general election and I have always wanted to run in it. The intent was to run for this seat. It is a good time for a younger, elected official to be the voice for a generation of leaders in Henrico, Charles City, and Richmond.”

Why should people vote for you?- “I am focused on pre-K to 12 to higher education. I want to be a new voice for new education policies. There is going to be a lot of movement through the general assembly in the upcoming session. I also have a passion to serve the underprivileged, help build senior citizen programs, and I believe the experiences I have will show that I am the best person suited for the community.”
