Eight earn indictments from New Kent grand jury

A New Kent grand jury handed down indictments to eight individuals after deliberations in New Kent Circuit Court Monday morning.

–Ronnie Gaspuras, 55, of the 3900 block of Moores Lane, Lanexa, on a single count of grand larceny. The indictment alleges Gaspuras stole property from Makemie Woods on July 31.

–Ramann L. Harris, 26, currently of Henrico Jail East, on a charge of assault on a law enforcement officer. The offense allegedly occurred on Oct. 16 while he was incarcerated in the facility.

–Mason Andrew Hudson, 23, of the 7600 block of Cheshire Road, Richmond, on one count of possession of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, Hudson possessed heroin on Aug. 14 when he was arrested.

–Dylan Matthew Hunt, 26, of the 500 block of Lafayette Avenue, Richmond, on one count each of DUI (third offense) and driving revoked. According to the indictment, the offense occurred on Aug. 11 after a traffic stop.

–Keyvon J. Johnson, 23, currently of Henrico Jail East, on one count each of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor assault and battery. Johnson allegedly assaulted a guard on Oct. 5.

–Roger Lee Little Jr., 46, of the 3200 block of Mattaponi Ave., West Point on one count each of felony eluding, driving as a habitual offender, and misdemeanor DUI. On June 21, Little allegedly led police on a chase through New Kent.

–Mark Anthony Malone Sr., 30, of the 1100 block of Old Clubhouse Road, Virginia Beach, on one count of forgery of a public record, uttering, and driving revoked. The defendant allegedly forged the name of another person after being pulled over for a traffic stop on July 3.

–Chapelle Monte Paige, 20, of the 5200 block of Orcutt Lane, Richmond, on one count each of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor DUI. Paige allegedly operated a vehicle while under the influence of cocaine on Apr. 25 and possessed the substance upon arrest.
