Purchase of ATV leads to arrest in New Kent

A Providence Forge resident who allegedly purchased an all-terrain vehicle without permission from a former employer has been arrested. Erin M. Bierwirth, 33, of the 6700 block of Halstead Lane, was arrested on Sept. 22 on two counts of forgery, and one count each of felony embezzlement, obtaining money by false pretenses, and identity theft. According to the police report, Bierworth worked for Ronald Marshburn and allegedly purchased an ATV valued over $20,000, signing documents without Marshburn’s permission.
