Snowstorm accounts for at least one death in Charles City

Snowstorm Jonas that hit the east coast on Jan. 22-23 has accounted for a death in Charles City.

Charles City Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death of a man on Jan. 23. A medical examiner said the man suffered from hypothermia as a result of the conditions.

The name of the victim is being withheld upon notification of kin.
