Johnson announces bid for Virginia House of Delegates

New Kent resident Cori Johnson has announced her intention to run for the 97th District Seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates in the November 2017 election.

Johnson, a former firefighter/paramedic, now works in public safety administration. She will be running as an independent in the upcoming race.

“It’s time to stop playing games and end the political tug-of-war,” she said in a press release. “Fixing our broken system starts with trading in career politicians for civic leaders.”
