Jury finds Henrico man innocent on firearm possession charge

A Henrico man was found innocent for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

A Charles City jury rendered a not guilty verdict favoring the defendant Michael Darnell Bridges, 40, of the 4600 block of Jenell Crescent Court.

An allegation said that on July 31, 2016, Bridges was fishing with two other men when a conservation officer allegedly noticed a weapon being moved by the defendant. However, a jury did not agree with evidence presented and favored on the side of Bridges.
