Charles City extends personal property tax deadline to Dec. 15

Charles City’s Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to extend the deadline for personal property taxes to be paid by ten days.

Taxes for the county are now due on Friday, Dec. 15. The decision to extend the date from Dec. 5 was made after citizens voiced concerns to county leaders through phone calls and the public comment period about the late arrival of the tax bills.
