Charles City woman dies in King & Queen crash

A Charles City woman has died after a car accident in King & Queen County on Apr. 28.

Morgan E. Munn, 20, was pronounced dead after succumbing to her injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to a Virginia State Police report, shortly after 7 p.m., a 2011 Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on Waterfence Road when it ran off the left side of the road. The vehicle subsequently struck a tree and overturned on its side.

Munn was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
