Miles announces re-election bid for District 3 in Charles City

Current Charles City District 3 representative and board chairman Floyd Miles Sr. has announced his bid for re-election to the position for the 2019 general election.

“I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Charles City County District 3 representative to the Board of Supervisors,” Miles said in a press release. “It has been my pleasure working for the citizens of Charles City County.”

Miles commented his goal is to continue to improve the quality of life for citizens of Charles City.

“We are currently working on providing internet service to the majority of citizens and having a paid Fire/EMS department that will provide 24-hour service,” he added. “It is my role to advocate for the people, and I want to continue to be your voice as the supervisor representative for District 3.”
