Williamsburg man charged with rape in Charles City

A Williamsburg man received two indictments related to sex crimes Tuesday morning in Charles City Circuit Court.

Raheem Lucky Pittman, 21, of the 100 block of Merrimac Trail, was indicted by a Charles City grand jury on one count each of rape and sexual penetration with an object. The offenses stemmed from a Nov. 21, 2018 incident. Pittman’s trial is tentatively scheduled for May 24.
