Jarrett man indicted for several alleged crimes in New Kent

A Jarratt man connected to several New Kent crimes from earlier this year has been indicted by a grand jury Monday morning.

Kevin Lee Barnardini, 59, of the 900 block of Correction Way, received formal indictments on one count each of forging a certificate, receiving stolen goods, unauthorized use of a vehicle, forgery, and shoplifting (third offense). The indictments allege that between Feb. 22 and Mar. 2, Barnardini stole a motor vehicle that belonged to the estate of Robert Parsons as well as license plates. He is also charged from stealing merchandise from the Love’s Travel Center in Talleysville.

In other indictments certified by the grand jury:

–Aaron Franklin Britton, 23, of the 6400 block of Poplar Road, Quinton, on a solo charge of misdemeanor DUI. The offense allegedly took place on Aug. 12, 2020.

–Erica Christian, 39, of the 8400 block of Airport Road, Quinton, on one count each of misdemeanor destruction of property and misdemeanor assault and battery on a family member. The offenses allegedly took place on Jan. 3.

–Rickey William Conrad, 58, of the 6400 block of Parrish Road, Providence Forge, on one count each of strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member. The offenses allegedly took place on Dec. 6, 2020.

–Kyle Robert Crews, 24, currently of the Lunenburg Correctional Center, Victoria, on four counts of violating a protective order (third offense within 20 years). The offenses allegedly took place over a one-month period that began Dec. 11, 2020 and ended on Jan. 11, 2021.

–Michael Joseph Goleski, 58, of the 10300 block of Red Finch Court, Mechanicsville, on a lone charge of grand larceny. The defendant allegedly stole property belonging to William Obrian Jr. between Dec. 19, 2020 to Mar. 3, 2021.

–Jerald Lee Liggins Jr., 34, of 25 N. Juniper Avenue, Henrico, on two counts of selling a schedule I/II substance. Liggins allegedly sold heroin and cocaine on Sept. 15, 2020.

–Detroy Nevaeh Mason, 19, of the 1400 block of Longdale Drive, Norfolk, on a single count of grand theft auto. Mason allegedly took a vehicle belonging to United Auto Sales on May 31, 2020.

–Amanda Lee Reece, 36, of the 5400 block of Coxson Road, Henrico, on one count each of possession of a schedule I/II substance and misdemeanor failing to stop at the scene of an accident. Reece allegedly was in possession of cocaine when confronted by authorities on Feb. 25.

–Kierra Ebony Winfield, 28, of the 1000 block of Charlotte Street, Norfolk, on two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer. The offenses allegedly took place on Feb. 17.
