Providence Forge man indicted by Charles City grand jury

A Charles City grand jury returned one indictment as a true bill during Tuesday morning proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court.

Daniel Wayne New, 63, of the 6000 block of Greenyard Estates, Providence Forge, was indicted on one county of making a bomb or burn threat. The defendant allegedly threatened to burn down a shed belonging to his sister’s boyfriend on May 13.
