A Richmond woman who allegedly tried to kill a person by running them over with a vehicle has been indicted by a grand jury in Charles City.

Kallie Lynn Odell, 30, of the 6200 block of Glenway Drive, was indicted on one count each of attempted first degree murder, malicious wounding, felony hit and run, and felony destruction of property during Tuesday morning proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court.

According to the allegation and police warrant, a sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence on The Glebe Lane on Dec. 15, 2021 to find a person had been struck by a vehicle. After receiving information, it was determined that Odell and the victim had gotten into an earlier argument. The culmination of that argument triggered the allegations lodged at Odell.
