Hampton man indicted for allegedly stealing classic car in New Kent

A Hampton man who allegedly stole an antique car has been indicted by a grand jury during Monday morning proceedings in New Kent Circuit Court.

Brandon Wayne Milligan, 29, of 5 Quinn Street, was indicted on one count each of grand theft auto, obtaining money by false pretenses, forging an automobile certificate, and transferring a stolen vehicle. Milligan originally stole a Ford Model A belonging to Gerald Sprouse that was intended to be a gift for one of the victim’s family members on June 25.

In other indictments certified by the grand jury:

–Rahmaine Malik Ahmad Austin, 21, of the 3000 block of MaCallan Parkway, Richmond, on a single county of felony eluding. Austin allegedly fled from police traveling on Route 60 West in New Kent on May 30.

–Tique D. Borland, 22, of the 6300 block of Springcrest Road, Henrico, on a lone count of felony eluding. Borland allegedly fled from police officers on Interstate 64 on May 22.

–Joshua Henry Brockwell, 30, of the 7900 block of N. Henpeck Road, Quinton, on one charge each of felony eluding and misdemeanor reckless driving. The defendant allegedly tried to run away from New Kent deputies on Apr. 30 while operating a dune buggy.

–Janet Marlene Castle, 46, of the 200 block of Seagull Court, Richmond, on one count each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug, misdemeanor driving revoked, and misdemeanor receiving stolen property. Castle was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine when she was arrested on Apr. 17.

–Steve James Cox, 37, of the 300 block of Ruckersville, on a solo charge of failure to perform construction on a building. The defendant allegedly did not complete work on a roof for Tyre Edwards on May 17, 2021.

–Michael Crawley, 43, of the 6100 block of Adkins Road, Providence Forge, on one charge each of DUI (fourth offense within 10 years), misdemeanor driving revoked, and misdemeanor refusing a breathalyzer test. The offenses allegedly took place May 7.

–Sean Douglas Clem, 32, of the 600 block of Teach Street, Hampton, on a single charge of felony eluding. Clem allegedly fled from officers on Interstate 64 while riding his motorcycle on June 7.

–Derric Mahoney, 46, of the 3000 block of Danrett Lane, Richmond, on a lone count of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Mahoney allegedly possessed cocaine on May 12.

–Monika Rae Marquez, 54, of the 15000 block of The Glebe Lane, Charles City, on a lone charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Marquez allegedly possessed methamphetamine on June 8.

–Lauren Nicole Mathias, 38, of the 2800 block of Diascund Reservoir Road, Lanexa, on one count each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. Mathias allegedly had cocaine, a gun, and ammunition for the gun upon her arrest on June 17.

–Sho’Maria Sosa Middleton, 23, of the 9000 block of W. Cloisters, Richmond, one a single count of felony eluding. Middleton allegedly did not stop for authorities after being signaled to pull over on July 1.

–Shyheim S. Morgan, 21, of the 3000 block of Hanes Avenue, Richmond, and Ogunshoye Sampson, 21, of the 5700 block of Bondsor Lane, Richmond, both on one count each of distribution of marijuana greater than one-half ounce but less than five pounds. The offenses allegedly took place on May 21.

–Czar’Aquil T. Outlaw, 22, of the 6700 block of Kenny Lane, Portsmouth, on a single charge of buying or selling two of more credit cards in a 12-month span. The offense allegedly took place on Dec. 17, 2021.

–Logan Wayne Ownby, 29, of the 6100 block of Pine Fork Road, Quinton, on one charge each of proposing sex with a minor by using a computer and misdemeanor violating a protective order. The offenses allegedly took place on Feb. 1.

–Joseph Christopher Pitts, 41, of the 2400 block of Custis Mill Road, West Point, on two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II drug and a solo count of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs. Pitts allegedly possessed heroin and Fentanyl when he was pulled over for a traffic offense on Feb. 13.

–Donald Darrell Roberts, 41, of 5641 Limestone Drive, Richmond, on a single count of felony eluding. Roberts allegedly fled from police while traveling westbound on Interstate 64 on Mar. 6.

–Franklin Cahuec Xitumul, 21, of the 1600 block of Treehaven Drive, on one count each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug and misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon. The defendant allegedly possessed cocaine and had a weapon on them when he was arrested on June 10.
