Providence Forge man indicted for allegedly damaging cotton field in Charles City

A Providence Forge man who allegedly damaged a field of crops were among five indicted during Tuesday morning proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court.

David Wayne Trull II, 49, of the 12000 block of Green Oak Road, was indicted on a single count of destruction of property and/or monument. According to the indictment, on June 4, Trull allegedly damaged a five-acre tract of land with cotton on it belonging to John Tench.

In other indictments certified by the grand jury:

–Tequan Lavaris Adkins, 28, of the 10000 block of Shady Lane, Charles City, on one count each of felony eluding of police, misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked, and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Adkins allegedly fled from police officers on Feb. 28, with officers having trouble placing him in custody on the same day after the alleged offense.

–Alexander Lee Bradby, 23, of the 6100 block of Barnetts Road, on two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and one charge each of abduction and robbery with a firearm. Bradby allegedly robbed Jacob Clark with a firearm and held him against his will during the process of the alleged crime.

–Paul Ronald Gwaz, 62, of the 500 block of Foler Trail, Prince George, on two counts of abduction. The offenses allegedly took place on Apr. 5.

–Richard Gene Wray Jr., 47, of the 14000 block of Crumptown Drive, Providence Forge, on one charge each of making a bomb/burn threat and misdemeanor destruction of property. The defendant allegedly threatened to burn property belonging to Tiffany Talbert and also damaged a truck battery and side door of the victim’s vehicle on Sept. 11.
