Barbara A. Sturtz

Barbara A. Sturtz, 70, of Shacklefords, VA, passed away Aug. 11, 2018, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hodges; sister, Patsy Gill; and brother, Whitey Hodges.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years, Herbert Sturtz; daughter, Jeanette Best (Michael) of New Kent; two sons, Timothy Sturtz of Mechanicsville and Brian Sturtz (Becky) of King William; mother, Mildred Hodges of Barhamsville; two grandchildren, Austin Sturtz and Jessica Best; two sisters, Ruby Martin and Gloria Richardson; and many other family members.
