Bettye Kate Jones

Bettye Kate “Katie” Jones, of Lanexa, VA, passed away on January 30, 2016.

Katie worked many years at Eastern State Hospital in their garden craft therapy department. She bred golden retrievers for many families.

She is survived by close friends, Robert and Ruth Jones of Greensboro, NC; Carol Adams of Reedsville, NC; Andy and Ann Bradshaw, Barbara Cooke, Connie Holland, and many friends she met through her dogs.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery, 20051 Tabernacle Road, Barhamsville, VA, 23011. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
