Christina Ammons

Christina Ammons, 72, of Providence Forge, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.

Christina was a very vibrant and spunky lady. She enjoyed her retirement, loved gardening, bird watching, dancing, her family, and grandchildren.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rilda Newsome Sumpter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Steve Ammons; four children, Tony Stone, Cherry Stone (Craig), James Stone (Terri), and Chrisken Blaine (Scott Blaine); sisters, Geneva Wallen (Harry), Phyllis Conrad (Dave), Linda Lewis (Randy), and Diana Fannin (Paul); grandchildren, Zecherian, Amber, Brittany, and Uriah Stone, Jamie Cornette (Brandy), Dewayne Cornette, Kenna and Ben Crispin, and Chris Wood; and her precious fur baby Molly, who meant the world to her.
