Christopher Logan Browne

Christopher Logan Browne, 44, of Midlothian, VA, and formerly of Shelby County, KY, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018.

Chris loved University of Kentucky basketball, classic country music, and spending time fishing and boating with his family and friends. He was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and attended LifePoint Christian Church in Toano, VA.

Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Witt; paternal grandparents, Albert and Martha Brown; and maternal grandparents, Jay Applegate and Loraine Applegate Cates.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Logan Browne; wife, Marielle Mattei; parents, Albert and Gayle Browne; two sisters, Tia Nicole Browne and Tanya Gayle Eaves; niece, Sierrah Jayde Browne; nephews, Grayson Eaves, Tyler Witt, Taryn Witt, Taelor Witt, and Taegan Witt; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 12 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA. The family received friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
