Christopher Wayne Leftwich Sr.

Christopher Wayne Leftwich Sr., 67, of New Kent, Virginia, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.

Chris was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the river. If he wasn’t outside, you were almost guaranteed to find him in the kitchen, canning and cooking up a storm. Chris also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Leftwich; and three brothers, Chuck, Jeffrey, and Jimmy Leftwich.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Leftwich Jr. (Danaire); two grandsons, Noah and Luke; a brother, Bill Leftwich (Eva); a sister, Kay Sluder (Stanley); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his beloved “granddog”, Lilly.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 3 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Virginia. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Tributes may be posted at www.vincentfh.com.
