Dennis Ray Overman

Dennis Ray Overman, 85, a longtime resident of Charles City County, Virginia, passed away on Aug. 2, 2022.

Dennis was a lifelong farmer. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Catherine Overman; his brother, David; and his sister, Marion.

He is survived by three daughters, Debora, Peggy (Chuck), and Johnnie (Michael); a grandson, Christian (Brittany); five brothers and sisters, numerous other family members, and a host of friend.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 11 a.m., at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Virginia. Burial followed at the family cemetery in Charles City, Virginia. The family received friends on Friday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home.
