Elvin Luis Zayas

Elvin Luis Zayas, 59, of New Kent County, peacefully ended his battle with cancer on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Elvin was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Maysonet; and father, Jorge Zayas.

He is survived by his wife, Aida Zayas; his children, Steven, Adam, and Emily; his sister, Carmon Ramos; his brothers, Frank Ramos, Eddie Ramos, Eric Cruz, and Felix Cruz; brother-in-law, Peter Ponga; sister-in-law, Anna Williams; honorary family members, Samantha Cunningham and Jackson Bush; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Elvin recently found peace and comfort through attending church at New Kent Christian Center. He will be missed tremendously by his family and they will appreciate your love and support during this time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Kent Christian Center on Saturday, Aug. 8, 3 p.m., with the family receiving visitors from 2-3 p.m.
