Helen Virginia Tate

Helen Virginia Tate ,92, of Quinton, Va passed away peacefully in her sleep May 22nd 2026.

Helen was a lifetime member of Hopewell Baptist Church and if it wasn’t Sunday she loved to cut grass and cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Tate Sr.

Helen is survived by her son “Jack” George A. Tate Jr. her grandchildren, great-grandchildren many extended family members and countless friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her long time caregiver Krystal Alvis and also Hospice of Virginia Team Members LaShell Jefferson and Heather Jones.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3-8PM at The Vincent Funeral Home 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA. 23140. The funeral will be a graveside service Wed. 11AM at Hopewell Baptist Church, 5061 Hopewell RD. New Kent, Va. 23124.
