Lora Rose Mead Binns

Lora Rose Mead Binns, 93, departed Silver Hill Farm for her eternal home on Aug. 8, 2018. She was the wife of the late E. Pearson Binns Jr.

Lora took pleasure in writing notes, going out with friends, and making new ones. She often said that she was blessed to be surrounded by the beauty and the kindness of the people in the New Kent community. Lora touched many lives with her compassion, welcoming presence, and inspiring faith. She has met her creator with joy in her heart and peace in her soul.

She leaves behind her loving children; Edwards Binns III, Grace Timberlake (Mike), and Margaret Adamson (Pete); granddaughters, Ginny and Lucy; lifelong friend, Roy Gephart; and beloved children of her late sister Carol and late sister-in-law Marion.
